Plovdiv
Our new photovoltaic system at the Plovdiv site is now generating 340,000 kWh annually, reducing CO ₂ emissions by 180 tons per year. This helps ensure a more sustainable and cost-effective energy supply.
Locate Varesino
The photovoltaic system at our Locate Varesino facility produces 560,000 kWh annually, saving 300 tons of CO ₂ emissions per year. 85% of the energy generated is self-consumed, covering 35% of the facility’s electricity needs.
Compressed Air Systems and LED Lighting
The implementation of a centralized compressed air system and motion sensor-controlled LED lighting in key areas is helping us optimize energy use and reduce unnecessary consumption
Infrared Heating and Condensing Boilers
We’ve also installed electric infrared heaters and new condensing boilers to further improve energy efficiency in our office spaces and production areas.
New Machinery for Enhanced Efficiency
Sigma Group’s focus on innovation continues with the introduction of new equipment that enhances productivity and reduces energy consumption. These advancements are designed to support operational excellence and align with sustainable practices.
Five-Axis Grinding Machines
In June 2024, we installed the second of two new five-axis grinding machines, offering improved precision and performance. These machines can handle larger pieces and integrate digital monitoring, allowing for better process control and efficiency. Additionally, their energy-efficient design helps reduce operational costs.
Upgraded Double-Disc Grinding Machine
Our new double-disc grinding machine, operational since July 2024, is tailored for large-scale grinding operations. With high-efficiency motors and remote monitoring capabilities, it delivers both increased capacity and optimized energy use.
